Portal Headcanon: Quantum Suicide
Okay, here we go. This is probably one of the creepiest theories I’ve come up with regarding Portal, and one of the most complicated, too.
If you can stand a bit of a read, and you’re not afraid of a little scientific explanation along the way, get ready to learn just how much of a murder Chell may actually be.
Putting this under my “science” tag, too, because this is an example of some good quantum mechanics at work and quantum mechanics is my absolute favorite kind of science.

Yes, that’s essentially it, especially the bit about there being an infinite number of terrible outcomes from any ‘ordinary’ test, even the first cube and button one in the very beginning.
What I think freaks me out the most about this, is that for every positive universe we’ve conceived ourselves or heard about through the recently released Cave Johnson lines for the PTeI DLC, there is always another side of the story that we have to consider, which may be more painful than the one we’ve thought was the worst up until now.
The bit I’m worried about is that this means that there’s something worse than Miku GLaDOS out there. :9
